| In Chinese falconry the arm sleeve or Tao Xiu is used in favour to the glove of western falconry. This soft lightly padded sleeve is very effective even with big female goshawks. In a way it is lesson to us in the west which shows us that big haggard goshawks can be manned to be as gentle as kittens on the fist. |
