How often have you seen such close contact end in ruffled feathers and footfulls of fur, yet from this dramatic image Vadim has managed to express the prospect of success to those with the knowledge of these encounters.
The “Old Hunter” has a grip on the hares back with her right foot and the left is poised for the head clamp. In that hold the hare is in a fatal disadvantage and this experienced old hunter has learnt this through the years. Look at the glow in those red eyes showing her age as well as experience.
